I’m a bit self conscious about how I look, which makes me wonder what the heck I’m doing, putting myself front and centre in all of these videos and all of these photos. But I woke up this morning to an amazing message from a guy who had his stomach removed, the same day as his brother, and he told me that my videos about living without a stomach had helped to put him at ease. I find it totally inspiring that I’m actually helping people, and it’s got me really motivated! So, I’m going to do an experiment, and I’m putting out a meditation and belly self massage on igtv tomorrow. This is something I feel really helped me in my recovery, and put me on my way towards reconnecting with my body after the physical and emotional trauma of having my stomach removed.
I hope you will join me!
